Ingredients
- 1 packet Pasta Pepe Pappardelle
- 1 brown onion, diced
- Olive oil, salt & pepper
- 250g beef mince
- 1 glass red wine
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- Grated Parmesan
Steps
- Fry onion in a generous amount of olive oil until soft. Add mince and stir until browned.
- Add wine, bay leaves, salt & pepper and reduce by half.
- Add tomato paste and water. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Cook pasta for 10 minutes until al dente.
- Drain pasta and toss through sauce. Serve with Parmesan. Enjoy!
