Penne Funghi e Salsicce

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Pasta Pepe Penne
  • 2 Italian pork sausages
  • Half a brown onion, sliced
  • 12 medium mushrooms, sliced
  • 250ml cream
  • Small bunch flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • Olive oil, salt & pepper
  • Handful grated Parmesan

Steps

  1. Remove sausage meat from casing and fry with olive oil, onion and mushrooms until soft and meat has changed colour.
  2. Add cream, salt and pepper and simmer for 2 minutes, then add chopped parsley.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes until al dente.
  4. Drain pasta and toss with sauce. Serve with Parmesan. Enjoy!
